Great bag for a laptop. 17" MacBook Pro fits great and doesnt rub on the zippers. Plenty of compartments for paperwork and cords.

First I got the Samsonite Business/Computer Cases 17" Laptop Bag. It was OK, but due to its slim-profile design, its external pockets felt cramped. And its strap seemed kind of thin, with a smallish shoulder pad. And while it had pockets facing the laptop pouch, I'm not a big fan of large parts (like power bricks) unsecured in the same compartment as my laptop, although you may decide on what the chances of damage are. So I went looking for a bag with - at least - a pocket which expanded outwards.

For the weight and storage and price, this bag is hard to beat.

The outside pocket is not as deep as I would like, but I can fit the power brick there. The bag is "airport safe" - it butterfly-splits in two for airport scanning.

The placement of the strap hinges is what I prefer (at the top, like the Samsonite, so it doesn't squeeze against the sides of the laptop like some other bags), and its got a large, thick shoulder pad. Well-padded carrying handles and two well-padded laptop compartments. A snug fit for my Dell M6500, but it works.

It's weight helps cut down on the carrying work, and it feels solid and high quality. And for this price, you'd be crazy to buy it anywhere else!

Note: due to its light weight and thinness, it may have trouble standing up on its own - I usually have to lean it against something.

Great laptop case for latest model MAC-PRO 17" - Nicely made and very neatly laid out. It is light but has plenty of padding. It has a zippered butterfly opening at the bottom for your computer which makes it easy to open up for inspection at airports. At 37 bucks it's a steal. Case like this would be a good buy even at 60 bucks.
