The Switch MB fits the MacBook 13.3 inches and MacBook Pro 15.4 inches. It features a high density notebook compartment, a removable and ergonomic shoulder strap pad, an earbud management system and storage pocket, an easy access side pocket, a front organizer panel for your daily accessories, a backslip pocket for additional files and newspapers, a top handle which makes for easy carrying, and most of all, interchangeable and reversible flaps! To change the flap design, you just flip it and clip it. And to get even more looks, just purchase additional flaps from Brenthaven.com! Along with customization the Switch MB comes with the option to add an array of interchangeable utility pockets that attach to the side of the bag for necessities, including an ac adaptor pocket, a small digital camera pocket and a mini hard-drive pocket. All attachments come with a buckled clip, which hangs onto the right side of the messenger base. Also available is a biker strap and clip, a reflective biker tail and a Wacom Sleeve attachment. Certainly a lot of thought and care went into the design and manufacturing of this messenger bag. I was initially so impressed with the quality of workmanship and thoughtful details that I can understand why this messenger bag costs about two to three times the price of other messenger bags.First, this messenger bag provides excellent protection for your laptop. At the Brenthaven web site, Harvey, their global ambassador, claims to have dropped his laptop over 5000 times without any damage to it. Although I am not yet brave enough to risk that, I'll take his word. The case is extremely well padded and fits my 13" laptop like a glove. I'll take their word that it fits the 15" as well, as there seems to be some give. The removable/changeable flap also has a zippered compartment that includes an attached rain cover. Shoulder strap includes a small Velcro-closure change compartment, which could be helpful to people needing to keep spare change for the the subway or bus. Inside the bag there is plenty of room for folders and numerous storage areas to organize everything including pens, gum, cell phone, keys, and so much more. Essentially, everything has a place in this messenger bag. One of the most interesting features of this bag is the reversible and changeable flap. The Brenthaven web site has several different flaps to choose from if you want to update or personalize the look of your messenger bag. My one complaint is that if ordering directly from Brenthaven the set up fee for embroidery is quite high at $100 set up and $10 per bag. It would have been nice if when ordering additional flaps directly from Brenthaven if they would be more in line with the embroidery prices of Pottery Barn or LL Bean. That would be a big incentive for people to place additional orders with Brenthaven. Additional accessories like attachable cases for your ipod, straps, laptop sleeves, and flaps can be ordered from the Brenthaven site. With the addition of another sleeve, users can easily carry two laptops in here, or even a pen tablet.

When I am looking for a bag for work, I am looking for three things:1. Protection for my laptop (I am a systems analyst), 2. Well-designed for my back (had back surgery a few years back), and 3. Something to set it apart from the leather and generic black bags that everyone else brings to the office. This item meets all of my requirements with ease. It has a large, padded sleeve with a secure closure for laptops from 13 to 15.4 inches. It sits perfectly in the small of my back with padding to ensure that it supports rather than weakens me. And it has a reversible top pouch that has a red-cross pattern on one side and a black and grey color on the other (the top is attached with both a long strip of velcro and two plastic clasps). The bag also has lots of other plusses including a plethora of small pockets for your iPod, cell phone, and other gadgets, a nicely-padded strap for carrying comfort, and a a strong construction that stands up to scrapes and drops. The only downside of the bag is the main pouch doesn't have much room for anything beyond the laptop. I was able to fit a 15.4" ThinkPad, a small paper notebook, and a networking cord. Anything beyond that had to find a spot in the outer pockets, which was a big of a stretch (no pun intended).

My reason to buy this bag was to protect my computer, not for the looks, and so far I am very satisfiedI traveled with this bag recently and my computer is working fine. There is quite a bit of space for extra stuff; though if you want to keep textbooks in it you shouldn't buy this. The position of the bag when you hold it means the weight of books is put on your computer. I put a DVD case and some other small items in the pockets and it seemed fine. Looks great, compartment for the computer is very well padded, slightly large bag but that's because of all the extra (helpful) compartments. It even has a pouch to put around your computer if you're walking in the rain. Overall very satisfied with this product.
