I've been using this back for about a month now, and it's been great for carrying my 13" MacBook Pro. It's padded notebook enclosure is excellently protects and accommodates it, yet it could also easily accomodate larger notebooks. The front pockets carry my power adapter, Texas Instruments TI-89 Titanium Graphing Calculator, the power cord, pens, pencils, and an five subject notebook. I haven't found much use for the device pocket, it would be great for storing iPods or my phone, but it's inconvenient to open as I am required to take the bag off of my back. It comfortably fits either shoulder or both.

It is built rock solid in everyway possible but lacks some quaity control. I noted a missing zipper tab on the inner side of the bag's flap. I replaced it with a small zip tie or cable tie. No issues with the rest of the bag. Won't return it as i'm overseas.

I love this bag. It has lots of pockets for all your gadgets! The laptop pocket has a nice layer of thick protective cushioning. Best laptop backpack I've purchased.

I've been using this backpack for a few months now, and I absolutely love it! I've got several other Brenthaven bags, and they are all sturdy (ballistic nylon & tough zippers), well-designed, and stylish. I really love how this backpack sits close to the body and has a very slim profile. I think it would be ideal for people who commute to work on a bike or motorcycle. It would definitely be great for airplane travel. The front flap gives me some peace of mind that I won't loose my wallet. I also really like how the laptop slides into the side of the backpack. Oh, and I must mention that I have dropped this bag several times, and my laptop has always remained safe! I did a review of this backpack at JoshLovesIt.com.

This is a strongly constructed backpack. It looks slick and sophisticated. My only concern is that if one day you accidentally leave the side zipper opened with your laptop in it (something that happens often to many people), it is quite easy for the laptop to fall out. The manufacturer could have designed this backpack more intelligently by simply preventing the zipper for the main compartment from opening all the way down, or by adding some form of security strap. This backpack is also vulnerable to being opened by thieves when you frequent crowded areas (subways, etc...) without you noticing. Hopefully Brenthaven will improve this very elegant and well built product in the future.
