This is my second Brenthaven bag. The first one was defiled by my cat who used it as a litter box while I was on vacation. I had it for a year and it was still like new, before the cat did its business. Like the first one, this one is very well made and able to take the abuse I deliver. Similar bags in stores cost at east 150 bucks (I know because I shopped around for a while). This one is priced like a cheapo Targus bag you'd find at Staples but feels like a Tumi Tech.

This is a perfect case for a MacBook Pro. The zippered compartments hold all necessary accessories, dongles and power supply with room enough for documents in a compact design. The case is high quality. I have no reservations about this case and highly recommend it.

I have a Brentwood Bag that I bought for my Titanium Powerbook sometime around 2004. I have used it for 2 other Powerbooks. My new MacBook Pro fits very tightly in that bag. So I figured this one would work better.

WRONG....... This new bag does not have the rigid reinforcement that the older one contains.
I would not feel safe carrying my computer in it. The thickness of the foam and the way it fits the intended laptop are nowhere the quality of the older one.

The storage is this bag would be great for someone who carries lots of paper work along with them.

I am a technician and need to carry more computer gadgets, cables, adapters, etc.
So the older bag is a much better design for that.

I hope Brentwood will come up with something that is much better protection than this one.

I hope Amazon's return process is easy since this will be my first experience with that.
