This is my second Brenthaven bag. The first one was defiled by my cat who used it as a litter box while I was on vacation. I had it for a year and it was still like new, before the cat did its business. Like the first one, this one is very well made and able to take the abuse I deliver. Similar bags in stores cost at east 150 bucks (I know because I shopped around for a while). This one is priced like a cheapo Targus bag you'd find at Staples but feels like a Tumi Tech.

This is a perfect case for a MacBook Pro. The zippered compartments hold all necessary accessories, dongles and power supply with room enough for documents in a compact design. The case is high quality. I have no reservations about this case and highly recommend it.

I have a Brentwood Bag that I bought for my Titanium Powerbook sometime around 2004. I have used it for 2 other Powerbooks. My new MacBook Pro fits very tightly in that bag. So I figured this one would work better.

WRONG....... This new bag does not have the rigid reinforcement that the older one contains.
I would not feel safe carrying my computer in it. The thickness of the foam and the way it fits the intended laptop are nowhere the quality of the older one.

The storage is this bag would be great for someone who carries lots of paper work along with them.

I am a technician and need to carry more computer gadgets, cables, adapters, etc.
So the older bag is a much better design for that.

I hope Brentwood will come up with something that is much better protection than this one.

I hope Amazon's return process is easy since this will be my first experience with that.

Light weight, ample space,nice stitching. Great Bag. Use for laptop when traveling. I may worry about security for other reasons but it won't be b/c of my bag!

I was pretty excited when I first got this bag, but about a year in it developed problems.

First, the grippy rubber coating on the shoulder strap peeled off. As a result, it won't stay put on your shoulder. Very frustrating.

Second, the zipper to the laptop compartment broke. Now every time it rains or snows I worry that my laptop is getting wet.

It's a nice bag at first, but it won't last.

I have tried quite a few different laptop bags over the years for my various PowerBooks/MacBooks, and this is my second Brenthaven bag. IMO, Brenthaven bags are well worth their price tag. Excellent computer protection, ample storage for accessories without being too big, long lasting quality.

This Brenthaven 2231 Stylis II-XF laptop bag works very well for me. I fly a few times a year, and had the Skooba Designs Checkthrough bag for my 15" MBP. The leave-the-computer-in-the-bag concept is pretty nice for airport travel. However, the Skooba bag is HUGE. I sold the Skooba bag when I sold my 15" MacBook Pro as that bag would be way too big for my new 13.3" MacBook Air. This Stylis II-XF is designed for up to a 15.4" MacBook Pro, but I find it fits the 13.3" MacBook Air quite well. I stuffed some material between the side cushioning of the laptop compartment which made it more snug for my MBA. I like the fact that there are 3 main compartments: 1. laptop, 2. documents, 3. accessories. I can carry an external portable DVD burner, hard drive, flash drives, Apple BT mouse, and cables in the accessory compartment, books/papers in the center, and the MBA, and the bag is well balanced, everything fits well, and it remains compact. Easily a 5 star bag for the features alone, and the price makes it a no-brainer.

I got this for under $30 from Ace Photo Digital, and my bag arrived pretty flat/compressed, and was missing the shoulder strap. The seller did not have a strap to send me, so refunded a few dollars instead. I wrote Brenthaven and they said they will send me out a new strap. For now, I am using the strap from another bag. I would highly recommend this bag for any 13.3"-15.4" MacBook/Air/Pro. It even has a provision on the back of the bag to secure to a rolling suitcase telescoping handle. After a disappointing experience with a lesser quality bag, I am only going to buy Brenthaven bags, that is, if I ever even need to get another one after this excellent bag.

I love this bag. This is my second Brenthaven Bag, the first being a Backpack that has traveled the world. I've been using this bag to
transport my MacBook back and forth to work for several months now with no issues. But should anything happen I can always rely
on Brenthaven's lifetime warranty to fix it. This is the biggest reason I buy only Brenthaven computer bags.

I was skeptic when ordered this bag but it was of the same quality as seen on apple store, so really satisfied

Have two Brenthavens, a much larger one for $90, and this one for the past 9 months. Almost like it the best. These guys make quality, thoughtful products. For the $25 bucks, what you get is off the charts. A great bag for my 15" MacBook Pro, plus cords, air cards, folders, and a magazine or two. A great bag.
