I absolutely adore the old Spanish Zarzuela operas. The Ohio Light Opera Company does a fabulous job with this Tomas Breton work. Thank you for having this rare work available to me!!

The singing is OK by a group of performers who are doing their best with a labored English translation. But the recording is from a live performance and it sounds like someone just put a mike down on the stage a pushed record. I threw this CD away.Jack H. Houston TX

This zarzuela at first is not in language(tongue) a Spaniard; what makes him(her) lose many of his(her,its) context and of picturesque sound and furthermore he(it) misses him(her) terribly highly-rated comic of the zarzuela; and then needs to say that there are so versions of this zarzuela in Spaniard that we have the choice and with versions much upper in every Christian (France)
