One of the greatest, if not the greatest, quarterbacks in the NFL tells us about his strenuous journey to the top. Brett Favre is known for his rocket arm and great accuracy. This book did a wonderful job by not only telling us of his talent, but also of the struggles he faced. Everyone had obstacles that they must overcome, and Brett was no different. When Brett was in the darkest of his days, he was on the verge of losing his wife because of his addiction to Vicadin. With the media haunting him, Brett knew that his act had to get back under control. I particularly enjoyed the stats that were given in the book as each game was played. Ever since I was young, I like to analyze football stats. This book provides tons of info with great numbers from Brett Favre. So if you love football and/or Brett Favre, I advise you to read Brett Favre by Bill Gutman.
