This review is from: Breville BBL600XL Ikon 750-watt 51-ounce Blender With Prodyne Acrylic 56 Oz Juice Jar With White Lid & Robert Rose The Smoothies Bible By Pat Crocker
I love everything about this blender (and I'm not easily impressed). It is attractive, sleek design, convenient to use, easy to use and easy to clean. It does have a limitation, but it is purely a power problem, being a 750-watt blender, and not an issue with its design or manufacturing defect. If you want a scoopable smoothie, you will have to baby it or get a more powerful blender. By scoopable, I mean soft-served icecream consistency. To me, I would rather baby it (by stopping the blending process and get the smoothie close to the blade 2-3 times to get full blending) than to pay the price for higher watts. If you want sippable blender, no problem. Push a button and leave.Cleaning is so easy. I just rinsed the blender until I see no visible debris, than fill half-pitcher of water and use the same setting as when I blended to clean. Repeat 1-3 times. Occasionally, take the blade out to clean thoroughly. I has worked well for the entire family of smoothie lovers. We have this blender for about a year now and I would not hesitate to get another one (excepts if it breaks down tomorrow or within the next year or two) :-).
