i really liked this because hidalgo is, number one, a striking color and i love the wild look. he is, i think, an exeptional example of your models. second, i think that he is durable, but not for really little kids because if he gets banged too hard, then there goes his leg, or ear, etc. but otherwise he is pretty tough. he is really a beautiful model.

This model is awsome! Everytime i get a new horse (i am a huge collector!)it becomes my ultimate favorite. This has been my most ultimate ultimate favorite yet. This model is so much fun, its just fun looking at his patterns! This toys edu. value is so high on my list because of its container. Any parents would be amazed just like i was to see how much info. comes w/ the model, the info surrounds it on the box. While playing w/ the model kids can also learn about its history by acting out their favorite scenes. A few of my older models have been broken, yet over the years breyer has improved their material so the are much less proned to brake. Not one of my new models has broken yet so i dont expect this 1 2 brake either. Its rearing legs are not in more danger of being broken, because in one of the breyer magizines it shows how they make the model, and you can see how they make the legs w/ extra support. This is why i give this model straight 5's!

I bought Hidalgo at the Breyerfest and got him signed by Rex Peterson! But anyways....
Hidalgo caught my eye because of the beauty and effort that was taken into making him. He sits on my window in his beautiful rearing pose. If you collect Breyer horses, Hidalgo is a must have. His spirit and wildness is put all into one breyer horse.
Hidalgo is not a play toy! Some of the reviews says that he is okay to play with. I have heard from my friends that he can get his leg snapped off if you are not careful. So he is a nice decoration.
Hidalgo is for the breyer horse collector, horse person, and fan of the movie.

Hildago is a very fun model don't worry you can play with him if your very worried about breaking him play with him on a carpet. Hey who said he can't pose for you like a fasion model. I like Hildago because you can see the realistic wild horse spirit in his eyes and the beautiful overel pattern on his coat.

I think Hidalgo is very educational, but I don't think he's as much fun because I'm afraid to touch him. He is not durable. I have found out with breyers that you have to not rub them, or else their plastic starts to wear thin.

I thought that this was a great toy that looks very much like the real horse!

Hidalgo is one of the best breyers ever. He's so beautiful and his position is really life like. I enjoyed him so much when I got him and I still do. I actually watched the movie 3 times in a row when I got it because even though we don't really know if the story in the movie was true or not, he is still amazing! He has a very cute but wild face and the painting done on him is super cool. Also the shape is pretty awesome. Even though he is decently educational and fun though, I can't say that I would recommend him for smaller cildren to play with because even though I hate to admit it, he does have many fragile spots and some sharp spots on his mane. For instance, his mane, tail, and even his legs would probably break if a child were to play hard with him. The good thing though is that he is not overly fragile. I have had him for quite a long time and he is still in good condition with no breaks and hardly any scratches if any. I would definely recommend Hidalgo for older children and serious collectors because he is extraordinary. He will take you on the ride of your life!:)

Hidalgo was my first model horse of traditional size. I love playing with him. It's so beautiful when I put him on top of my shelf where I get to just look at him. If you are a horse and a pony lover you would just love this toy. So go head! Get your money ready and buy this model horse today! But be careful! This toy might break.

Hidalgo is really cool. His color is amasing and he looks awsome!
I like Hidalgo because he is in a reaing postion just like a wild mustang. Many people would think that he fall down every time you put him somewhere, but acually, he dosen't!

Hidalgo is a very fun model. He's realistic rear and eyes look beutiful to my very eyes. This model is a brust of fun but it would be better for decarattion for a room. Be careful with him.
