I bought this for my 9 year old daughter. She loves that it has a matching horse and foal. The quality is very good and the coloring is beautiful. These are two of my favorites in her entire Breyer collection.

My niece absolutely loved these horses. Thery were the only toy she played with at our Christmas family get together.

This is a very good horse to buy,they are painted nicely and are very durable.But there is one problem...the picture shows the mare in a canter when i recivied her standing,this was a bad thing to do as it was clearley shown cantering in the picture.None the less,the horse was still fantastic standing,but when buying this product you shoudn't expect the modle of the mare to always be cantering.

The breyer horses are a terrific buy for any horse lover. My four year old has dozens of them, and we are still buying them.

I thought that this mare and foal set was very cute. My children loved them, especially the foal. Unfortunately the mare's front leg broke within 30 days of purchasing the set. My children are 5 & 2 and when they play with the horses they tend to put too much pressure on them when they make them run across the floor. Overall this was an OK purchase. The foal has lasted a year & a half so I guess that makes it worth it!
