I HAVE A RATHER LARGE BREYER COLLECTION AND REGULARLY ENGAGE IN DIORAMA EXHIBITS. dESPITE THE VERY LOW PRICE FO bAXTER i TOOK A CHANCE BECAUSE I ADORE THE COLOR. AM I EVER GLAD THAT I DID! BAXTER HAS GALLOPED, CANTERED AND TROTTED TO THE HEAD OF MY HERD! He has a lovely, accurate, but not overdone, dapple color, showy stance and attitude with glowing, "love eyes", totally charming. Occasionally you may find a decent Breyer with a good price point-seldom will you find one this nice. Having paid up to 65 for other models it is hard to believe this one! I may get another just to put away for later. Please trust me-rush, or gallop, fast as you can, to get your own Baxter! He is BEAUTIFUL! (still a kid at 55!)

This model is even more beautiful in real life than it is in the picture, if that's even possible! WOnderful model, but I would not give it to a child under 10, as they may play with it too rough without knowing, and then you have a three legged model.

I give this model ***** stars!!!

Many Breyer collectibles are tagged with "Traditional" or even described as such, and turn out to be Classic series models. Baxter is a Traditional, and a beautiful addition to any collection.

Love the Bryer horses and have collected them since I was a kid. This is just one more added to my collection.

I got this horse for Christmas, and I just forgot to post a review on it. He's a lovely, almost rose grey Morgan with a fancy pose. He's one of my absolute favorites due to the fact that I adore his pose. I must warn, though, if you're looking for a larger Traditional horse, Baxter probably isn't the one for you. He's quite petite in comparison to some of my larger models (like the Huckleberry Bey or Smart Chic Olena molds), but he is still quite a bit taller than a Classics horse. He's a great match for my newly acquired GG Valentine model (GG Valentine still stands about a quarter of an inch taller).

He is a regal horse with a proud stance that would look good under an English or dressage saddle. Like with all Breyer horses, he isn't steel and will break if he's roughly played with.

All in all, a great model (even if he's a little petite). :P

I love this breyer! It is the best breyer of mine, and I have 26 breyers. It stands on carpet and a hard surface. The best thing to me about the breyer is the legs, neck, tail, and head.

But on the other hand, the bad thing is that there is a big spot of paint missing and it's right on the back. But it's ok, because all of mine have a bad spot!
