Brian Boru - High King of Tara by Maurice Lennon is a well thought out musical tribute to Brian Boru the last high King of Ireland who was killed in his tent after his army had defeated the Vikings. Each track pays homage to the life of King Brian from the burning of his home by the Vikings when he was 13 years old up to the time of his death. Using both music and vocals to tell the story, Maurice Lennon has blended a unique mixture of native Irish instruments and lyrics to bring forth a truly enjoyable CD to pay tribute to the life of Brian Boru, the last high King of Ireland.
