I thought this calendar might be toned down compared to some of Froud's work which I had previously seen. Nope! Be prepared for the nipples, bare bums, etc. of faeries of all ages to be displayed on your kitchen wall! I really wish a preview of each month had been available, because not everyone who comes to my house would be comfortable with the level of nakedness on several of the pages, and we'll be getting another, tamer calendar for our kitchen this year.

This calendar has some nudity in it which may be offensive to some - possibly not for display in public areas of the home or office. I think it is a beautiful collection of art pieces by Brian Froud, though, and a great value. We love fairies and this makes a good conversation piece in the home. Calendars can be utilitarian or additional works of art in the home. This qualifies as both.

I am already a big fan of Brian and Wendy Froud so having a calendar with a picture each month to admire is a real treat. Not to mention that these pictures are so lovely I may frame them and hang them in my studio where I create my own little needle felted Faerie creatures.

This Brian Froud 2012 Calendar is so beautiful. The picture and paper quality is perfect. The date sheets are so awesome, they have like a old paper look to them, but in a very artistic way. It's bigger than I had imagined and I love that! I recommend this Calendar!
