Good introduction to the Briard breed,

I found this book to be a good general introduction to the Briard, describing conformance, temperament, and health issues. Training is dealt with briefly, as well as a mention of various shows. I would have preferred that the book deal a bit less superficially with the topic of training the Briard, as this is a critical topic for large herding / working breeds. This book would better be described as an introductory rather than a "comprehensive" owner's guide.

Since the Briard's are not common in this area, I relied upon the book to guide me. For understanding the breed, it does a very good job.
