If you're interested in this breed, this is the book to get. But it won't tell you how to look for a breeder or how to housebreak your puppy; rather, it's a serious, scholarly look at the history of this ancient breed, with original translations from source documents and detailed analysis of both the French and American standards. Highly recommended.
