This review is from: Briarpatch Clothespins Game (Toy)
I played this game with my children and their friends too (5, 7 and 9 years old girls and boys). We all loved it. It teaches sorting, patterns and strategic thinking.
You have to line up clothes on your clotheslines. The cards on a single line must be the same type or the same pattern. There are bird cards, with those you can steal cards from the opponent's open clothesline and place it on your own, or you can use it to rearrange your own cards on your lines. You only get to do one move when it is your turn - you may discard cards, put your cards down on your line, or use your bird card. The game is over when one player completed all three clotheslines. The players get points depending on how many cards are on their clotheslines. The player with the most points wins. This is a very good game, it is not just based on luck, but it teaches kids strategic thinking. We highly recommend this game. |
