Nothing tells us whether we're supposed to collect any color token,or only our own. Nor are we told whether more than one token is permitted on a space. Or the point in moving the tokens (the first two spins).
My son went out-of-pocket with his own money to for this ridiculously junk.
Instructions- 1 star, so confusing and overly complicated.
Playability- 4 stars, once you figure out some rules anyone could play, I don't know why they rate it for six and up. It's a fun quick game once you start.
Robots- 4 stars. They're pretty neat. Except the stickers stink.
Game board and pieces- 1. Most of these are terrible. Board won't lay flat, spinner falls apart, stickers fall off the robots
This game is weird. The box didn't have a lot of info, so I wasn't really sure what I expected, but I'm glad I only got it at a thrift store cheap. I'd NOT recommend spending $10 on this. The instructions are weird and overly complicated. The robots are neat, but their details are stickers that immediately fall off. Immediately, seriously. In taking the robots apart to start the game more than half the stickers were off the robots and just stuck to the table. You have to really be willing to make up some house rules, or you'll be really puzzled. For some reason it's very complicated with each turn taking three spins. And as another reviewer comments, no explanation as to why. But with the right rule set it really could be good for a variety of ages. The board also didn't flatten out very, well, it was stayed bumpy. The spinner didn't snap together and just falls apart. Gameplay was okay all in all, but I wouldn't recommend you buy this at retail price, or that you be very excited about it. All in all I paid $3 for some neat little robots, that are well articulated and snap together pretty well. If I draw some details on them with a permanent marker they'll be pretty neat. I bet we'll toss the game and keep the robots.
