The game is cute and somewhat fun. You need 3 to play which makes it hard at times. The cards are big and hard to handle for little hands.

I don't know about the original game because my granddaughter who is 6 and I play the match game and go fishing with these cards. We just half the dack when just the two of us play and add more when more play. We have had hours of fun. I recommend these highly.

The Fancy Nancy products reminded me a little of the Pretty Pretty Princess game from the 90's. While you don't get the fun of putting on the accessories here there also isn't the chance of losing pieces or children getting upset when something breaks. It's still very fun and simple. An easy game for little kids to play and easy for parents to keep track of the necessary parts. I would definitely recommend this.

We weren't sure about ordering this after reading the reviews, but my daughter LOVES fancy nancy and these cards were so affordable. We have a great time playing with them...my girls (3 & 5) love playing these cards together and occassionally their brother (2) will play, although the cards don't hold his attention for long. It's definitely not a card game we would play all the time.
