This game is a simple matching game. There are 4 boards with pictures from the famous books, and the goal is to match the pieces. The rules are simple, yet interesting enough (if you spin Maisy and you already have her it is a wild! You get to pick what piece). The pieces are thick cardboard, very durable. My daughter (3) also likes to just play with the pieces. It focuses on color matching, (white paper, blue fish, rainbow paints, etc.), so they will grow out of it quickly, but great game for 18month-4 year olds.

My lil guy is 2.5 yrs and LOVES Maisy, so I found this game and WOW, what a hit! Heavy-Duty & Durable cards and pieces, Colorful & Adorable just like the books. We don't really play it like a game yet as he's too little, but we like to lay out all the cards and play the matching ("Can you find Maisy's panda bear?" then he matches the piece to the card). If your little one knows Maisy, then he/she will love this. And what a great sale price, fantastic christmas present!!!!

My son loves this game. We play it all the time. He began playing it in preschool and loved it so much that we found it for him. It is the first game that he followed the rules for and played the right way. Now he loves to play other board games as well.

My daughter and I discovered this game when she was nearing 2 years. She knew her colors and shapes pretty well but this game can be adapted (see instructions) to a level of play for those just learning. It does wonders for teaching patience and helping to learn to take turns. Now we each use two boards then swap. We play this game often even still at 3 though I would not want to have just bought it at 3, too easy now. We still enjoy it though, a perfect 2nd birthday gift!

The boards and pieces are heavy duty cardboard and plenty sturdy for normal play (they have been sat on without damage), very age appropriate, bright and colorful. For a Maisy lover or not, this is a great first game!

We have two daughters, 4 and 2 years old. They really seem to like the game. It is short and sweet... perfect for young children who do not like to stay still for very long.

This game is lots of fun. Matching, colors, shapes, themes, it's got it all. We started out following the rules, but now we are at a point now where we don't use the spinner or take turns, we just match the shapes, and some of us (the 3 year old) just take all the boards and won't let anyone else play. Maisy is such a fun character and the game is really cute!

Both my 2 and 5 year old love playing this game. It is a really fun, easy game for a younger child to play and helps them learn colors.
