I have read this author's previous works and often come to the same conclusion. He starts off with a bang and then the storyline just seems to slow down to a crawl.
While The Bribe is not horrible, there are too many characters involved and too little storyline to hang them on. The writing is also very, very basic. No flowery descriptions here. The storyline was okay, but it felt recycled - like I have read it many times before. Overall just average. |
