From the moment you open the book, the layouts, diagrams and feel of the pages makes it a great book to read, laid out step by step with each project showing preparations, and jargon and cut away views...
this book will be very useful to me.. and I am delighted I bought it...

If you are serious about tackling a project built with bricks this is an excellent book you should read first. Details about bricks, designs, preparation, tools, etc...it is in here. Good photos, nicely detailed drawings and many fine design ideas will help you decide if building with bricks is within your skill level.

Great food for the imagination. Would highly recommend for someone planning a brick patio, garden, water feature.

Clearly illustrated and with serveral interesting projects. Book gives the reader the basic ideas on how to build a project.. i.e. the tools needed and the techniques used. One of the better books on DIY brick masonry I've seen.
