The list author says: "This is a list of some of a brides "must haves," based on my experience as a bride-to-be. I have dedicated a ton of time to this, and these are some items I think are, for the most part, essential (even if you are not doing your own make-up and hair), and are moderately priced:
-makeup/skin primer -photo-ready foundation -easy blend under eye concealer* -cry-proof mascara and eye liner* -eyeshadow primer (and eyeshadow, of course) -mattifying/finishing powder -bronzer and illuminator (and blush, of course) -makeup finishing spray (optional) -hair heat-protectant/leave-in conditioner -hair curlers (depending on your style) -hair spray (and in mini bottle to carry for the big day*) -eye drops* -band-aids* -long-lasting lip color -lip gloss/chapstick* -bobby pins!!!* -dependable tissues (or handkerchief)* -needle and white thread* -handy wipes* -comb and mirror* -daily skin care! -daily hair care! -sunless tanner to cover those t-shirt tans -lovely jewelry details such as bracelets or anklets (if they'll show), and hair pieces -perfect nail color -blotting papers* -breath mints* -travel-size perfume* -deodorant*
These are products I have largely tried and intend to include in my wedding preparations! I hope it's helpful!
"I swear by this lip color. It Does Not Move for hours on end. It does make the lips appear dry (something a little gloss easily fixes), and some colors flake a bit if over-applied, but I've never used anything that lasts so long."
"Mints are very helpful, especially through a long day of wedding events and close encounters with relatives. I personally prefer caffeinated mints for these occasions, since coffee is out of the question."
