finally!,

okay...so my thoughts. i actually really liked sammy and tor as a couple in this book, the opening scene between the two of them was cute and funny. and usually i hate tor, so this is a big compliment to mary coming from me. throughout the book, despite sappy moments, their relationship is one you root for. um...other than that, i liked the smattering of old whitebrook horses, especially mentions of precocious and other whitebrook favorites. the reasons the wedding kept being postponed were believable for the tb series, and the ceremony itself didn't let me down. this book was SOOOO much better than the last flashback books with cindy, and definitely trounces derby fever. it actually does justice to the older characters. it didn't even really ruin sammy like i know we were all afraid it would. so all in all, it was a good, cute book, and it gets 3 1/2 to 4 stars and has me willing and kind of curious about the next one. my only major complaint was that it's kind of hard to place this book on the tb timeline. sammy is supposed to be 23 and cindy is supposed to be 17, but i think all these flashback books and previous mistakes and confusion make it just too hard to place.
hopefully editors will listen to reader demand, which inspired this book, and reconsider their decision to end the series.

Clears a lot of stuff up,
By A Customer
This review is from: Bridal Dreams (Thoroughbred Series #65) (Paperback)
The plot in this book isnt much only deserving 2 or 3 stars, but the reason i gave it 4 was becuz it clears a lot up about old characters such as what ever happened to max? or mandy? or maureen and yvonne? len? Plus you find out why samantha dissapeared to ireland and started eventing.Basically the tale of Samantha's wedding, but worth it to find out about characters that disapeared.

Finally! some things are finally explained! This book was great because i finally know the story behind why Samantha packed up and left for Ireland without a word. WHY DIDNT THEY JUST SAY THEY WERE GETTING MARRIED AND THATS WHERE THEIR HONEYMOON WAS?!?!?!?! all this time i thought Sammy was tired of KY so she just left. Another positve to this book was it explains about Tor and sammy's wedding (i thought it was going to go sometihng like they ARE getting married. that would have made me mad b/c in other books it said they were ALREADY married. Phew!)this book is worth reading. It filled me in all these years. and they talked about what happened to some other characters too. THANK YOU!

It doesn't fit......,

I thought the book was great, except that it doesn't follow the original info. In the book Samantha's Journey, Tor proposes to Samantha at Whitebrook after she gets the job as assistant trainer. That is just one of many. That bothers me, but if it doesn't bother you, then go ahead and read it. It really is a great book.

ok but has bad facts,

This was a good fill in the blanks book. But I do wish that the writers that they get for this series would at least read the books previous to it. Where did the sentence about Christine being involved with a new horse 'Mistic Blue' come from. if they had just read the previous book they would not have put this sentence in. As in the other books written by authors besides Joanne, the facts do not hold together to the previous books.

I gave it 4 stars only 'cause it's Sam and Tor. And they are amazing!!!But I find something really dumb. The "Are Sam and Tor ever going to get married?" Hello?!?!??! It's obvious that they are married unless they really aren't..but whatever. It brings back the old times..and I like those
