This book has a huge number of excellent illustrations of mostly bridal fashions of the Victorian Era - as the title suggests - but in addition, there are illustrations of evening wear, 'going-away' gowns, and underwear of the period. There are some very limited details in construction but if you are looking for a book that will give you ideas of the clothing styles worn during this period, you will not be disappointed in this book.
