Book Description

Harlequin Desire January 1, 1998

WHAT A WEDDING!

Angie Ellison had just married a gorgeous mystery man in a hastily arranged wedding ceremony. Clearly, the folklore about the comet passing by her small town was true—it affected everyone's morals! Surely that was why she was looking forward to her wedding night with one heck of a bad boy….

Sexy undercover agent Ethan Zorn wasn't interested in silly comet lore, shotgun weddings or sticking around this crazy town once his assignment was over. But he also knew it wasn't the comet making him act like such a hot-and-bothered newlywed in love. It was Angie…

BLAME IT ON BOB: The comet passes through once every fifteen years…but leaves behind a lifetime of love!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, fantastic start to this trilogy!!!!!!!!!!!!!, March 7, 2005

This review is from: Bride Of The Bad Boy (Blame It On Bob) (Harlequin Desire) (Paperback)
Every 15 yrs over Endicott, "Bob" the comet arrives & causes nothing but trouble for the locals. 15 yrs. ago Angie, Rosemary & Kirby made a wish on Bob.

Angie wished for something exciting to happen in Endicott, & did she get her wish. Angie is a journalist with the local paper. She writes a story about crime coming to the town. She breaks into the house of Ethan Zorn, who she is certain is a lowlife, scumbag, mudering slug, who works for the mob. She is trying to find evidence against him when he arrives home early. Of course she can only "blame it on Bob" for her actions & when she runs out of excuses that he will believe Angie admits that she has been admiring him from afar.

This situation causes some very funny sequences of events. I, for one can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy which are bk. 2 "Beauty & the brain" & bk.3 "The virgin & the vagabond".

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny and Romantic, December 26, 2005
This review is from: Bride Of The Bad Boy (Blame It On Bob) (Harlequin Desire) (Paperback)
This short, romantic story packs quite a punch. When Ethan arrives in the small town of Endicott, Indiana, he brings with him a cloud of suspicion that Angie Ellison cannot wait to uncover. As the town reporter, she sets about to discover why Ethan has come to town and what he wants with her fathers' company. Ethan is a murderous mob/mafia man, or is he? Angie and Ethan grow closer as the book continues on, and Angie begins to see Ethan for what he really is - a decent guy who may just be on her side. The romance is very fun and engaging and the characters are smart and interesting. Sure, this isn't great literature, but it provided me with a ton of laughs with its witty lines, and an afternoon of entertainment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great!, October 11, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Bride Of The Bad Boy (Blame It On Bob) (Harlequin Desire) (Paperback)
Comet "Bob" is back and the town of Endicott, Indiana is celebrating. Why the comet passes over this town is a mystery, but some still believe in the legend: when someone born in the year of the comet makes a wish when Bob passes over the town, the wish will come true on his next visit. In the first of the series, Angie's wish for something exciting to happen may come true in the form of mystery man Ethan Zorn, but Angie believes he is out to steal her father's company! "Beauty and the Brain" and "The Virgin and the Vagabond" follow.
