5.0 out of 5 stars A Soundtrack That Fits The Movie Perfectly.
When "Bride Of Chucky" came out, I was instantly hooked. Loving the music presented in the movie and most of the bands on here at the time, I was naturally compelled to purchase this soundtrack. I have owned this since 1998, and it still remains a fixture in my stereo. It's one of the few soundtracks I own that brings back vivid memories of the film. It is very obvious...

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible.
This Cd is a huge rip off. The big names drag you in but the songs by them SUCK. The creepy pics. inside are enough to not get it. I'm taking mine to a used cd store.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Soundtrack That Fits The Movie Perfectly., November 18, 2004
This review is from: Bride Of Chucky: Music From And Inspired By The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
It is very obvious the producers intentionally chose pieces that, not only were stylish, but fit the mood and overall story of the movie. Monster Magnet's "See You In Hell" and Type O Negative's "Love You To Death" are two shining examples. The lyrics to the songs sound like they were written for Chucky and Tiffany, even though they were written way before the movie came out. White Zombie's classic track "Thunderkiss '65" is a great touch, even if the omission of Rob's "Living Dead Girl" (which played over the opening credits) is a bit depressing. Coal Chamber's "Blisters" is probably their best song ever. I'm not really into them as much as I was when this was released, but I still love hearing this song. It moves very slow, but once it kicks into gear, the payoff is worth it. Too bad they didn't make more songs like this. This soundtrack also introduced me to two bands I hadn't heard of at the time. Powerman 5000 and Static-X. Powerman 5000's "Son Of X-51" is a different version than the one heard on their 1999 "Tonight The Stars Revolt!" and is worth checking out if you're a fan, while Static-X's infamous track "Bled For Days" serves as that nostalgic first release from the band (also, one of the best songs of their career). The soundtrack is also beefed up with some metal on the more traditional side; Slayer's "Human Disease" is absolutely brutal, while Bruce Dickinson (of Iron Maiden), Judas Priest, and Motorhead give the soundtrack some old school credibility. Kidneythieves' cover of "Crazy" is definitely an interesting addition, and plays into the movie very well (much like Stabbing Westward's track also). Finally, composer Graeme Revell's piece, titled "We Belong Dead" pieces together a bit of score and soundbites from the movie. Too bad though that the score from the movie wasn't release, I love Revell's work. Overall, it's a superb soundtrack. Fans of the movie and heavy music alike won't want to skip this one. It definitely has staying power. I've had it these six years and even though I own most of the material by now on other discs, it all sounds so great woven together on this one collection. Or maybe being a rabid Chucky fan makes me biased, who knows.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bride Of Chucky Review, November 4, 2001

I have to say that I love the soundtrack. Very intense and fun, suits the movie perfect. I agree that "Living Dead Girl" by Rob Zombie should have been on there, considering it was the opening song, but none the less, it was very good. However, there bits of a song in the movie that I really love, it has a really creepy sort of sad sounding guitar in it, not on the soudtrack unfortunatly, anyone know what I'm talking about?

4.0 out of 5 stars Listener gets lucky, well almost, August 2, 1999
This review is from: Bride Of Chucky: Music From And Inspired By The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
This album is great, it has some really terrific tunes on it perfect for a killing spree, just kidding. The only parts I didn't like was the omission of Living Dead Girl and that depressong, pathetic, Love You to death. Definately check out We belong Dead it is an amazing movie mix by Graeme Revell

5.0 out of 5 stars Great soundtrack for heavy metal fans, June 26, 1999

The movie ruled but the soundtrack was cooler! Although it has another one of those things where they play a cool song in the movie and don't have it on the soundtrack, and the song is Living Dead Girl by Rob Zombie. But other than that, you can't go wrong with a CD that has White Zombie, Monster Magnet, Static-X and Stabbing Westward.

This CD is cool, but why the hell isn't that Rob Zombie song on here??? I mean, even at the beginning of the movie there was a little thing that said "Title song performed by Rob Zombie." Why do those stupid idiots do that? That was the best song.

I give it four stars because I love the opening song "Living Dead Girl" by Rob Zombie and its not even on the soundtrack!! The other songs are ok but I wouldn't buy it unless this song was on it.

I saw this movie(extremly funny)and when I head the tracks for the soundtrack,I had to have it.It's an exceptional album. If you like the"hard core" rock, I strongly suggest purchasing this.White zombie, featured on here, is truly on of the greats. So, go out there and give it a listening to.
