More About the Author

Reading about the daring of romance heroines lit a passion in Theresa. She found she wanted to write about them--their dilemmas, their dangers, their dash--it all added up to a huge world of non-stop fun and excitement. So Theresa jumped in and started creating her own exciting worlds.

Thirteen books later, Theresa is still writing. Her books can be found on Amazon, and on her website at www.theresascott.com

Theresa's historical romance novels, published in print, have sold over 600,000 copies in the markets of the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Britain. Several of her books have been sold to publishers in Germany, Holland, and Taiwan.

1.0 out of 5 stars BORING!!!!!, August 6, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Bride of Desire (Leisure historical romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
I read about 3 books a week and this is positively one of the worst I have read in a long time. It is inane and the dialogue is too childish. I got so tired of all the "mayhaps". I really think I could have done better in a book report for high school credits. I am glad I got this from my sister so it didn't cost me anything. I usually only write good comments about the books I have read but I didn't want 4 stars to give someone the wrong impression.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed this book, July 27, 2000

I actually liked this book. I laughed when Winsome wanted to use a piece of the sail from Brands boat for a dress and when she painted pictures on his ship in red. It was fun to watch them both try to understand each other. I ended up buying other Theresa Scott books once I finished this one. Now I'll have to find her older ones as well.

I liked this book because it is different from the rest out there. It was funny and entertaining, a really good story.
