I actually liked this book. I laughed when Winsome wanted to use a piece of the sail from Brands boat for a dress and when she painted pictures on his ship in red. It was fun to watch them both try to understand each other. I ended up buying other Theresa Scott books once I finished this one. Now I'll have to find her older ones as well.

I read about 3 books a week and this is positively one of the worst I have read in a long time. It is inane and the dialogue is too childish. I got so tired of all the "mayhaps". I really think I could have done better in a book report for high school credits. I am glad I got this from my sister so it didn't cost me anything. I usually only write good...

I read about 3 books a week and this is positively one of the worst I have read in a long time. It is inane and the dialogue is too childish. I got so tired of all the "mayhaps". I usually only write good comments about the books I have read but I didn't want 4 stars to give someone the wrong impression.
