There are Two Elizabeth Chadwicks
You need to be very careful when you order books by Elizabeth Chadwick because there are two Elizabeth Chadwick's. Both are very good, but they write very different kinds of books. The Elizabeth Chadwick who has written Bride Fire is not the same author who wrote The Marsh Kings Daughter and Lords of The White Castle.

Elizabeth Chadwick who?
This Elizabeth Chadwick is apparently not THE Elizabeth Chadwick that I entended to purchase for my wife. It turns out to be AN "Elizabeth Chadwick" pen name for Nancy Herndon, an American author. While she seems to be a good writer, I take exception to Amazon listing her books with THE Elizabeth Chadwick the English (British) writer of historical novels. "Bride Fire"...

This was the first romance novel I ever read. It definitely got me hooked. I love the change in plot and locations throughout the book. This is a wonderful story about the power of love, and all of the magical things that love can accomplish.
