Disappointed,

This review is from: A Bride for His Majesty's Pleasure (Harlequin Larger Print Presents) (Mass Market Paperback)
I've read a lot of Harlequin books, but none like this one, From the first page you actually dislike the heroine, she's spoiled, with a real complex of inferiority and she judge the people around her before getting to know them. and insult the male lead and then get offended if he insults her back, besides her having her own personal agenda and has the nerve to accuse him of having one too, I actually felt sorry for the male lead in this book. I was in his place I just send her as far away as I could. Not one of Penny Jordan best.

This review is from: A Bride for His Majesty's Pleasure (Harlequin Presents #2876) (Mass Market Paperback)
I can't finish this book. The storyline is so poor - marrying brother-in-law because her sister cheated on her husband. The heroine has an inferior complex believing that everyone likes her sister more than her. Set in an unbelievable setting - an island ruled by a prince who has honourable vision for his country but marrying sister-in-law as revenge to please his people. The dialogue is strange, like a historical novel instead of a contemporary romance. More importantly, the heroine is as mentioned by the previous reviewer - just not a likeable person at all. She is unnecessarily rude and sarcastic to the hero for no particular reason. The writing goes on and on, often going off the particular scene for paragraphs.
