5.0 out of 5 stars Enchanting Art, March 22, 2008

This review is from: Bride of the Water God, Volume 2 (v. 2) (Paperback)
As someone who reads manhwa from time to time (and manga all of the time), this is the first time I was really impressed with the art work AND the story line. The first two pages (Front and back) are in color and the art is breathtaking. I keep reading it and wishing the whole book was in color. The story itself is very captivating and I can't wait to turn the page, but I take my time because the art work makes you want to look at it for hours. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful...., August 19, 2008
This review is from: Bride of the Water God, Volume 2 (v. 2) (Paperback)
When I first saw this book on Amazon, i thought that since the cover looked amazing, I'd give it a try. (because to me, even if the story is great, if I dont like the art, then I'll hate it.) However, lucky me, it turned out to be both a page-turner and a work a art. I really like this series, so i recommend it. I'm counting the seconds until book three comes out.

5.0 out of 5 stars recommended, March 15, 2008
This review is from: Bride of the Water God, Volume 2 (v. 2) (Paperback)
When the world cast her away, the Water God rescued her.

Soah is a girl from a small village. The Water God (also known as Habaek) is upset and so a long drought has been devestating the village people. In order to appease the god, they marry Soah off to him by sacrificing her to the Water God in exchange for rain. The Water God rescues her to his Water Kingdom, where her new life begins. For Soah, this is a story of her faith ... her life ... her love...

Overall, all I've got to say about this manhwa is that it has incredible artwork and the storyline is just very intense. There's always a cliff-hanger in every volume. Which just makes readers want to read more and more of it.
