A Trio of Testimonies!,
This review is from: The Bride Wore Black (Paperback)
Packed within the pages of this little book was actually three mini testimonies...which made for one great reading experience! I liked the fact that it was short enough to read in one sitting. Although a Christian and virtuous woman now, the author has not lost sight of her sorry beginnings as a reckless and rebellious young person. It truly is a book of hope...not religious hype. This woman is "the real deal" and not afraid to speak about real-life issues. Glenda's story related to my own on many levels. It ministered to me in ways that I have not experienced before. It instilled faith in me to believe that I can receive the same awesome results in my life. To the Christian and non-believer alike, I recommend "The Bride Wore Black."

This review is from: The Bride Wore Black (Paperback)
A spiritual stimulus package for the discouraged soul. A modern day serendipity. Reassurance that divine disruptions still occur without merit. A transparent testimony of triumph for this underdog. The Bride Wore Black is a haven of hope for heavy hearts and homes in despair. For anyone struggling with sickness, reckless and rebellious children, and those who have given up on God. Herein lies inspirational proof that sometimes the worst thing that can happen to us is actually the very best thing, in disguise. Light enough to read in one sitting...heavy enough to chew on for the rest of your life!!
