Dense Hero,
By Merry Reader "Sissy" (Indianapolis IN USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bridegroom On Approval (Fairytale Weddings) (Harlequin Romance) (Paperback)
Marco Salvador is a brother from he 'Who's holding the baby' He has a twin brother, but he tells his family not to swarm Hanna because he wants her to trust him.
Hanna Tyler must learn to trust Marco, but when his twin brother is kissing a woman and Hanna's stepson and secretary see this, then tell Hanna, she confronts Marco, and instead of comforting her or even laughing, the most patient of all the brothers (not) walks out on her. When he tells Luc his oldest brother about what happened, Luc admonishes Marco, and reminds him of the fact that Stefano is his identical twin. Luc wanted to know if Marco introduced Stefano to his wife. Well Marco admits he didn't but I bet if Stefano had been kissing Hanna, and Marco saw it, I bet it he would have been the one who was hurt. But I knew when Marco said on page 34 and 142 as well as 147 that he would never hurt her, that is exactly what he was going to do. This was not one of Ms Leclaire's best or most understanding of books, it certainly was a long way from 'who's holding the baby'. But Marco did give Hanna a gift of reaching out to others, even though when she most needed him to reach out to her he became a very Dense Hero.

This review is from: Bridegroom on Approval (Hardcover)
Description from the book back cover:
Fairytale Weddings - Welcome to the Cinderella Ball: come single, leave wed! As if by magic, meet and marry your perfect partner - all on one special night ... Hanna Tyler was fed up with her family's matchmaking: she just had to find herself a husband! When a friend gave her a ticket to the Cinderella Ball, Hanna decided to bring home a husband - on a trial-only basis, of course! Marco Salvatore was looking for a business deal, not a bride. He considered it impossible to choose a wife in one night. He was wrong: he wanted Hanna the moment he saw her ... and they were married by midnight! Now Marco had to convince Hanna that their instant marriage could last a lifetime!

Another great read. Hanna is given a ticket to a "Cinderella ball" for her birthday.
Marco is at the Beaumont's for a business meeting with Rafe. He is not there to find a wife. He doesn'tbelieve in love at first site, but that is until he see's Hanna. All he has to do now is convince her to marry him & not as a tempory marriage, one that will last forever.

Or not.,
This review is from: Bridegroom On Approval (Fairytale Weddings) (Harlequin Romance) (Paperback)
Here's the thing: I really liked this book the first dozen or so times I read it, and then I started thinking . . . This is a sequel to "Who's Holding the Baby?", starring Luc Salvatore's irrepressible younger brother Marco. Marco goes as a guest to the Cinderella Ball made famous in the Fairytale Weddings series, and unexpectedly meets Hanna, his soulmate. Hanna was abandoned as a child, and has all kinds of issues, and works hard to control her world through charts and schedules. Marco sets out to prove to her that there's a better way to live, opening her heart to love, etc. The problem? When Hanna does not develop a trusting nature as fast as Marco thinks she should, he walks out on her. The jerk. It does not help that he claims to be doing this to force Hanna to make a decision. It doesn't even help that Hanna eventually passes his test. His incredible arrogance basically shipwrecks this story, and not even his incredible charm offsets it. The second star is for glimpses of the other more sensible members of his family.
