5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have, August 15, 2010
This review is from: Cousins and Bridenbaugh's Neural Blockade in Clinical Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (Hardcover)
This exceptionally well-written text is essential for practitioners of regional anesthesiology and pain medicine. Fully comprehensive, the text is supplemented by an impressive array of images and illustrations, which it uses to walk the reader through complex procedures with ease. It is up-to-date and advanced enough for even the most experienced practitioners, but fundamental enough to be used as an introductory text for trainees and students. It blends nicely the practical, technical aspects of clincial intervention, with its basic science and molecular underpinnings. I recommend this text with great enthusiasm!

This review is from: Cousins and Bridenbaugh's Neural Blockade in Clinical Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (Hardcover)
Excellent compilation of relevant and current topics in regional anesthesia and pain management. Not only does this book explain the various neural blockade techniques with illustrations, it also has in depth explanation of molecular basis as well. Great reference for anesthesia trainees and pain management specialists. The format of the book makes it easy to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Book!!, July 5, 2010
This review is from: Cousins and Bridenbaugh's Neural Blockade in Clinical Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (Hardcover)
Extremely well written with lots of fantastic illustrations and pictures that make it so easy to read.
Figures and illustrations are really helpful in understanding of techniques and anatomical structures. All technical approaches and interventions are presented in detail and information on the molecular mechanism of action is also provided based on the most recent scientific advances.
An excellent choice both for trainees and experts. A source of knowledge that practitioners can turn to for guidance and update.
Fully half the book's content is devoted to pain medicine, making it useful as an authoritative reference for physicians treating pain whether or not they practice regional anesthesia.
I definitely believe that it is a textbook that everyone interested in pain management and neural blockade should have.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Pain Management Text, September 29, 2004
Griggsby Wright, MD says:

This book has fantastic illustrations relating to anatomical structures, creating a 3-dementional appreciation for technical approaches and interventions. However, the genre of this book is limitless by actually getting down to the molecular aspects of theory and practice.

This book boasts an extensive compilation frameworked within a superior format.

As an anesthetist i am constantly looking for reference material. This is the "bible" for neural blockade. The book arrived promptly and for the price of shipping and handling. Cost of the book was <$1. Could not believe that the book was like new.Although it was an older edition it has answered all my needs. Great book and purchase!
