This is the best book on the market to help organize a wedding! It is wonderfully organized and the photos are fantastic. The "to-do" lists are really helpful and i used every section of this book to pull together my wedding. I have given this book to several of my bride-to-be friends and all of them have loved it. It really is the perfect shower present. I can't recommend this highly enough--for anyone planning a wedding or needing a gift for a favored bride.

Marsha Heckman is the most original, romantic bridal designer in the U.S. I've seen most bridal and wedding books, and Marsha's (this one and BOUQUETS) really cut through a lot of the stuff we see everywhere else. A BRIDE'S BOOK helps a woman create a unique, personal wedding that's true to her own style. It doesn't hurt that the photos are gorgeous too.

"A Bride's Book" is both visually exquisite and extremely valuable for any bride to be. As a mother of the bride, it was extremely helpful during the year before the wedding. I had my own copy, which turned out to be beneficial to both my daughter and me. The attention to detail helped bring order to the chaos of planning and executing the perfect wedding.
I often give "A Bride's Book" to the daughters of my friends when they becomne engaged. It is a beauiful gift.

The "Bride's Book" was one of a few wedding books I purchased or was given right after I became engaged. This one stood out from the rest because I was able to "use" it, not just read it like the pther books I bought.

The photographs of the floral arrangements were beautiful and helped me to discern what I wanted to do for my wedding. Each of the sections of the book enabled me to keep on track and keep much of what I needed for planning in one location. Plus, the book made me think outside of my own ideas for planning without making me feel overwhelmed (which is hard not to feel during this time!).

I really like the fact that I was able to use this before the wedding, and, now that the wedding has come and gone I am in the process of writing and adding to the keepsake and journal sections. I am excited that I will have the book to look back at over the years to see not just the mementos, but also the process of making the wedding happen!

This is a great gift for any bride - Two of my friends got married after me this Summer and I have given each of them the "Bride's Book" to use for their wedding planning.

This is a true jewel. I gave it to my daughter and she had a ball with it! The ideas presented sparked more ideas and the helpful organization made the process of keeping it up to date quite easy. It's a treasure she'll keep and may even hand down as a started seed for her own possible daughter(s).

A friend's daughter recently got engaged and I gave her "A Bride's Book," by Marsha Heckman. It's a gift unto itself-- so beautifully done and inspiring. Seeing the bride-to-be actually exhale when she realized how clearly all the ins and outs of a wedding were delineated made her mother and l relax, too!

I bought this bridal guide as an engagement party gift and it was the hit of the afternoon. As it was passed around everyone commented on the beautiful pictures and the extremely helpful information. Those who had been recent brides were disappointed that they had not had this particular book to help them since they found sections here that were not included in the wedding planners they had used. I would recommend this book (although I hesitate to call it only a book - it is more like a Bridal Encylopedia that covers every aspect of wedding preparation) to anyone who is looking for the definitive wedding planner.

I was expecting *guidance* on planning my wedding, and got a contact sheet for all of the people involved. This book is simply a place to write down names, addresses, and other info of the vendors and people involved in your wedding. There is a to do timeline, but otherwise no planning tips. And when it says "full color photos", it means 7 full color photos of the bouquets. Thats it, because the rest has no tips, just information sheets. I have all of that info on the contracts I signed, so I don't see a need to have it in more than one place. It has a "journal" as a keepsake, but it is just a bunch of empty pages for you to write in. I could have MADE a better binder, and that is what I did. I threw this out and made my own.

I thought this book was really great. I got annoyed that my wife didn't use it, but I think she's gonna give it to a friend.

This bridal book is one of the best for helping in the organization of putting the wedding all together. I highly recommend this for any future bride or as a gift for the organized bride.
