When I selected our wedding photographer, I had no idea how to evaluate a studio or even which shots I wanted to capture before, during and after the ceremony. Personally, I found it hard to warm up to my wife during our session, but with Kathleen's tips on what to bring and how to relax during the session, we could have had much more memorable engagement photographs.

Have a sit down with your photographer with a list of times and types of shots you want based on the wedding photos you have seen of others (example see the Knot wedding site). Really, this book was unnecessary.
