About the Author
The author, Schyuler Broughton Bates, is a resident of Atlanta, Georgia and has a Bachelors degree from Hampton University, a Masters degree from the University of Maryland, and has owned and operated Wedding Dreams, a wedding consulting, coordinating and directing business for five years. She has directed and/or consulted brides on weddings in Cleveland, Ohio, Baltimore, Maryland, Nashville, Tennessee, Los Angeles, California and Atlanta, Georgia. The author has also been a bridesmaid eight times, a hostess five times and a bride only once. Her friendships have lasted through them all intact.

In the nerve-racking time of my wedding planning, this book helped me to deal with communication with my Bridesmaids. I gave each one a copy of the book and it helped us to be open and honest with each other...I truly believe it helped me to keep these friends and to enjoy our time togther insted of adding stress to the situation.
