easily understood with good examples..nice for beginning partners at duplicate.
I bought this book as a reference guide, but it has been difficult to access the reference part due to the reason cited above.
The book was one of those gifts they hinted at, and I'm glad I got it.
Strategy is important in a thinking person's game and starting hands with an idea of how they'll play is significantly better than winging it (ask your partner!).
Good gift - or buy it for yourself.
The section on Bidding is especially well crafted. Some chapters could be a bit shorter. At times, it gets over whelming. Yet as a book, I give five stars to Bridge for Dummies.
