The author is an excellent teacher. If you are a beginner, you will be on a steep learning curve. If you are an intermediate player, you will gain from the author's methodical approach and you can expect to enjoy your game much more. Makes you wish that he writes many many more books for us to enjoy and learn.

Conceptual Understanding of Advanced Bridge Thinking,

Julian writes deeply and fully about Bridge in conceptual terms that I can understand. He should be writing a column for the ACBL maganzine. Even his thoughts that are not on "topic" are insightful and often witty.
