If you want to bring in more light; feel overstimulated by all the light you are bringing in and want to feel more balanced; if you want to improve your relationships, connect with your soul, and have more flowing emotions; then this is the book for you. This book is a combination of profound meditations, visualizations, and techniques to bring in light, live in the light, and to then integrate all the light you have brought in. LaUna and Jaiwa's gentle and loving words will assist you in moving through blockages created by being on a spiritual path, in accepting and loving yourself, in taking risks and making changes, and will assist you in handling the fears and challenges of bringing in light and being on a spiritual path. You will learn how to create a wonderful life that works for you and that allows you to radiate light to others.

I read this book years ago and held on to it. I had to replace it several times because it got so worn

One thing I liked about it was it has ways of contacting your own Higher Self. This is so incredible so that you do not have to ask other people for advice, or psychic readings, etc

In this way you can get information for yourself and she shows how

She shows you how to create a "safe place" in your mind, and whenever you feel upset etc you can imagine going there

The bridge of light is incredible because she shows you how to create bridges to heaven, earth, other people, etc

It is so helpful because it has practical exercises

Bridge of Light is especially helpful for those who are serious about living a spiritual life. I agree wholeheartedly with Sanaya Roman in her review of Bridge of Light when she says, "This book is a combination of profound meditations, visualizations, and techniques to bring in light, live in the light, and to then integrate all the light you have brought in."

After a long search for a book on spiritual enrichment "for grown-ups" at last I found this book! In fact it is possible that those who are just beginning a spiritual path may need to read it slowly to absorb everything. The processes here are quite deep and each one is a treasure. When the author describes constructing the Bridge of Light, I discovered this is a literal bridge in the higher planes, and the results have already amazed me!

I ordered the meditations LaUna recorded on tape and love to do these processes listening to her voice. For example, connecting my bridge to the quality of spiritual courage has been a revelation. An ongoing challenge that had been troubling me was surprisingly easy to resolve, and in a way I had not even imagined before I worked with this process. Now I am working with the "Courage Chart" in the book and discovering how much courage I have developed.

Another good process is meeting a friend on my Bridge. I built a Bridge of Light to the quality of Joy and brought a dear friend (who I had lost touch with) to the bridge. Three days later this friend actually contacted me with a great job offer. For several days she had been thinking of me and wanted me to join her in some new projects! On noticing that my book is the revised edition I checked and found that it was originally published several years earlier by Simon and Schuster (1989). I only wish I had found it then -- however at least I have it now.

It is easy to sense LaUna's life study of the Ancient Wisdom along with her own intuitive insights and wise guidance from within. She makes it easy to put these ancient principles into practice in today's world.

If you are ready to began your Spiritual Path, or already on your path, this book is invaluable. You will find the tools you need to work on a higher level, that will transform your life , and the lives of those around you. Putting an end to struggling on the physical level as you began to connect with your soul and create positive changes in you life with ease. If I was to recommend one book only, this would be the book.

The purpose of Bridge of Light is to enable the reader to create connections. They are not made of concrete, wood, or steel, but rather from filaments of light which stream forth from the substance of one's heart to the plane of the soul. Just as with a physical bridge, once the connection is made, many new and wonderful events are set into motion.

The energies which traverse this bridge are healing and expansive, having the potential to affect virtually every aspect of our lives in a positive manner. From discovering our life's purpose to healing a rift with a distant loved one to solving a vexing business problem, such a link brings to our lives in a real and useful manner the unlimited wisdom and creativity of the soul.

Originally written in 1989 (Simon & Schuster Pub) as the first in the Awakening Life Series, this revised edition takes the first edition a step further in terms of its content and format. Packed with insights and inspirational materials, it is a book of instruction in which teachings alternate with precisely drawn exercises.

These exercises begin, first, with the creation of a "spiritual workroom," the Temple of Light, and then with the Bridge of Light itself. These form the basis for the remainder of the book, which is concerned with training the personality to assist in the process of spiritual transformation, and then with learning how to create a joyous future on the earth plane.

After reading Bridge of Light, we tested some of the exercises presented, first doing them as instructed in the book, and then following the guided practices which the author has published separately on audio cassette. Both ways are effective and prove the validity of the teachings in the book. Ms. Huffines brings a very refined, soul-like quality to the process.

In Bridge of Light, LaUna Huffines has made an outstanding contribution to current metaphysical understanding by taking some very high teachings and stepping them down to a level where they can be understood and practiced, while sacrificing none of their effectiveness. These teachings are presented in a compact, lucid, and interesting manner, supported by a writing style that has a great deal of "presence" to it. It feels as if the teacher is speaking directly to the reader, aware of one's presence and inviting silent dialogue. Her words trigger memories of earlier days and lifetimes when we sat in sacred circles, receiving the precious transmissions that would dissolve yet one more veil of forgetfulness, adding strength and stability to the bridges which would provide passage to our greater Self and to our fellow travelers.
