A great bridge book!,

I picked this book up on the recommendation of a bridge book seller who recommended it when he saw I was buying Love's book on Squeezes and Ruben's Expert Bridge Simplified (both are good books). I hadn't heard about it before hand, but it was a great recommendation. The writing is great with the technical information easy to follow and the Alice in Wonderland styled example bridge hands inject some humor while reinforcing the points.
In addition, the concepts around the division of sides and the simple math to count the combinations and evaluate the likelihood of different hand patterns was new to me and a great contribution from the author. I highly recommend this book to any bridge player interested in improving their play.

While I find the subject interesting, I found this book verbose. The material could have been presented better. The book could have been shortened by a third (or more).
I probably will not look at it again. Hugh kelsey and Jeff Rubens (and others) have books on similar topics. Tyr those.
