Easily the best written material I have encountered on squeeze plays. Love's discussion is both comprehensive and well organized. He divides squeezes into various helpful categories, starting from the most basic and moving on to the more advanced. The material is challenging because the squeeze play is itself intrinsically challenging. That is, there is no such thing as "Squeeze Play for Dummies". Dummies will never master the squeeze, but for the intelligent and serious player, this book is the best tutor available.

Love's book on squeezes is a classic for any serious or some what serious bridge player. The updated book's text is easier to follow than the original. The bidding has also been updated as the original book had quite odd auctions at time (standard for the time is not so standard decades latter).

My only quibble concerning this copy versus the original is that the problems presented in this copy show all 4 hands so you have to cover East-West while you solve the problem to get the most out of it. But this was done, I think, to get many more problems in so there is a lot of great content in this book.

Reading this book will make you a better declarer!

Excellent classic book on bridge squeezes. Contains all you need about them. Nice examples, illustrative and clear explanations understandable for everybody.

If you are a serious bridge player, this book will prove highly beneficial for improving your game. This book has provided me with great insights on how the experts manage to make that seemingly impossible contract. A must for serious players.

I consider myself an expert bridge player, but weak at squeezes. I think this book is excellent as it talks about something that is not intuitive or something you can pick up just by playing a lot of bridge. If you are an excellent squeeze player, you may not learn too much, but I still think you could gain something, there are going to be some squeeze types you have not even dreamed of in here. After saying this, it may be over the head of beginners...
