5.0 out of 5 stars Great Insight Into Overcoming Segregation, April 29, 2010
By
This review is from: The Bridge over the Racial Divide: Rising Inequality and Coalition Politics (Wildavsky Forum Series) (Paperback)
This book offers a great blueprint for overcoming the separation between racial groups within America. Wilson argues that the way to overcome the differences between racial groups is to address the lack of economic activity presented to the lower classes, regardless of their race. This is something many people overlook when discussing the racial divide in America. Wilson also discusses this in a way that is relatively free from the polarized language that we have come to expect in the United States. What you do not get in this book is a highly charged discussion, just cold fact and common sense, what a change. Overall a very good book.
