Product Description

Our lightweight hiking sock for women featuring anti-compression loops to keep cushioning resilient. Sculpted pads protect the foot while 360 degrees of venting cools it. Mid cut height. T2 is a unique loop within a loop design offering impact protection at pressure points. The inner loop has more resilience than the outer loop to help cushioning. T2 Anti Compression cushioning keeps socks comfortable longer. T2 cushioning is positioned at high impact areas where pressure points are a factor, such as ball of the foot, metatarsal bones, lace up area and Achilles.

I am hard on my feet. I have had Plantar fasciitis in both feet and have stress fractured both feet in separate injuries. My shoe size has changed with these injuries from a narrow size 10 shoe to a medium 11.5/12 shoe (42 European size). Women's socks at the department stores don't wear well for me. Mens socks from Walmart bunch at the toes and I get blisters or I can put a hole in the toes with one wearing. In a large size these socks feel great, support the arch and fit comfortable snug without being tight on my toes. I love them. I hike and ride a hybrid bike on mountain trails these socks fit. In the city, I wear the socks with my Birkenstock's Boston, or a New Balance walking shoe with orthodics and they feel like a massage to the feet.

For me these are definitely worth the extra cost.

These socks are comfortable, have some cushining for hiking and are not too heavy. They wash well and have enough elasticisty that they stay up well. Keep my feet dry even on hot days. I got the plum (purple) and they are easy to spot in the wash.

Came back today to buy some more as fall is around the corner. These sox fit my small feet, cushion them just where it's needed and wash remarkably well. A good investment in happy feet.

can't say how well they do as far as keeping feet cool or how the hold up over time. I have always worn small size in socks but these are very, very tight. cannot risk trying to wear them at work as I have 3 hours of walking on my route and don't want to be miserable. The heel part of the sock fits halfway between my arch and heel. If I pull them up hard enough the heel will go where it should but then my toes are cramped way too tight.
