5.0 out of 5 stars Bridges! Bridges! Bridges!
This beautifully rendered coloring book has over 40 line drawings of bridges, in various countries and locales. Some are over the canals of Venice, some span deep canyons, and some are over wide rivers in cities. So you get a variety of terrain with the pictures.

3.0 out of 5 stars An intricate and informative "coloring" book
This book contains very intricate line drawings of bridges around the world. While the drawings are wonderful and the accompanying text is informative, it is definitely not a coloring book for children ages 4-8. My 7 and 10 year olds weren't at all interested in it, but my husband is eager to get at it with watercolors.

This beautifully rendered coloring book has over 40 line drawings of bridges, in various countries and locales. Some are over the canals of Venice, some span deep canyons, and some are over wide rivers in cities. So you get a variety of terrain with the pictures.

This is probably not a coloring book for everyone--the colorer needs to have an interest in architecture. I would also say this is a coloring book for adults only, the pictures are far too intricate for a child.

I greatly enjoyed coloring this book, reading information about the bridges, and seeing all the different styles of bridges.

I got an excellent workout on how to color water and was doing much better before I finished the book. I also enjoyed blending various colors on the rock cliffs featured in some of the pictures. I used markers and colored chalk, the latter was particularly useful in blending colors on rock cliffs.

A couple of the pictures I did as night scenes, which added interest and variety for me.

I highly recommend this book for those who have an interest in the beauty and structure of bridges around the world, and also like coloring detailed drawings.
