About Bridgestone Golf
Founded in 1931 by Shojiro Ishibashi, Bridgestone has always been guided by Ishibashi's philosophy to "serve society with superior quality." Over the years, this pursuit has resulted in Bridgestone becoming the global market leader in the rubber industry and polymer science technologies. Bridgestone Golf shares the same passion for golf as the company's founder, who turned his love of the game into a commercial success when Bridgestone produce its first golf ball in 1935. Hand-in-hand with the company's developments in tire technology came breakthroughs in golf ball design and performance that have led Bridgestone to be the number one golf ball producer in Japan.
