Product Description

The Dueler H/L 400 molds an all-season compound into a notched and siped symmetric rib tread design to grip in dry and wet driving conditions, including light snow. The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts to stabilize the tread area and a polyester cord body to help cushion the ride. The Dueler H/L 400 steel belted radial is a Bridgestone all-season tire developed for most models of light trucks and crossovers.

Terrible tread life and non-existent snow/ice traction. Very good cornering/dry traction.
They were installed on my 2008 Highlander in late 2010. By mid-2014 they were nearly bald - after only 22,000 miles. I drive a fair amount of winding mountain roads, so that may have contributed to the short tread life, but I have never had a set of tires wear so fast. Inflation was always maintained correctly. They are rated M/S, (mud and snow), but that is misleading. These tires have almost no grip on snow.

I lived in Wisconsin and now moved to northern Illinois. I bought my Toyota Venza in August 2011. The tires are the OE tires. After driving for several weeks we had the feeling that the car tried dashing forward when breaking. We went back to dealer twice to have the brake system adjusted. We felt better after the second brake adjusting. (I never thought tires may cause problem as well too.)
In 2011 winter we were feeling the car was handling badly in the snow weather. We have to be very couscous driving in bad weather. I got a grandson in 2012 winter. I drove 50 miles one trip to pick up my grandson near every weekend. But if it was snowing or had icy road condition, I had to drive my other car for the trip instead. Driving Venza with Bridgestone tires was very dangerous in such weather condition!
After driving Venza for three years the tires have worn a lot. Winter driving became worse and worse. Last winter the car even slip on my driveway, if there was some snow. So I decided to replace all my four tires next week (I already placed the order) before the bad weather. I have owned multiple cars for over 20 years, using different brand name tires. Bridgestone tires are the worst tires I have ever had. I am also blame to Toyota why picked up such bad quality Bridgestone tires to be their OE tires for Venza!

This tire was exactly what I needed for my 2010 Venza. It is the same tire that the car comes with. And the price can't be beat.

So far so good I purchased the Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 All-Season Radial because my spare was a Bridgestone Dueler H/L All Season Radial. As I said so far so good.
