Surprising, inspiring, and utterly unique,

This review is from: A Brief History of Camouflage (Paperback)
This is one of the books that inspired me as a young writer fifteen years ago. An absolutely stunning collection of short fiction. Every story is a surprise, every sentence remarkable. I taught Thaisa Frank's short stories in writing workshops for years, and am eagerly awaiting her novel, Heidegger's Glasses. If you write short fiction, or want to, this book should find a treasured place on your shelf, along with Sleeping in Velvet.
