Designed with a handy built-in conical burr grinder, this space-saving Thermoblock espresso machine features 15-bar pump pressure for consistently authentic espresso with excellent crema. For use with either fresh ground coffee or ESE individual-serving pods, the unit includes two brass filter holders--one for ground coffee and the other for pods. The espresso machine's patented Crema Master filters consistently produce rich genuine crema, and its turbo-jet frother produces plentiful dry steam for a thick milk froth when making cappuccinos or lattes. Two thermostats regulate the coffee cycle and steaming process for the pump, with a third safety thermostat located on the pump in the event of continuous or abnormal use.
Other thoughtful details include simple push-button switches, a "ready" indicator light, a removable 1-4/5-liter filtered water reservoir that fills from the back, and visible water levels from the front of the unit. In addition, the unit's AquaStop no-drip system prevents dripping and the need to empty the machine of remnant water, while a cup warmer on top of the machine keeps porcelain cups warm. A built-in coffee tamper and measuring spoon are included, and a removable overflow tray ensures easy clean up. Great espresso,

The first espresso machine received from Amazon was DOA but Amazon quickly sent out another. This second machine was DOA also so I contacted the repair company in New Jersey for instructions. They authorized me to open the machine and look for loose wires which I did and found one of the wires to the main switch was disconnected. I'm not sure if this is a quality escape from the manufacturer or happened during shipment. After reassembling the machine it worked like a champ producing great espressos and cappaccinos with excellent crema. The added burr grinder makes this machine an excellent choice for those who like freshly ground coffee. Taking the machine apart and reassembling would not be for the faint of heart but, on a mechanically inclined scale of 1 to 5, this would be about a 3.

A ridiculous experience,

I can't review this product because I didn't receive it, it also wasn't what I ordered, but I didn't realize this until over a month after I'd ordered it, when I was finally notified that it had been shipped. I ordered a combination coffee maker and espresso maker, not just an espresso maker, through Amazon, from Builder Depot, specifically because it said they had it in stock. It was more expensive than other websites, but I knowingly paid more to get it right away.This whole experience is ridiculous.
