My brother recommended the Briggs and Riley brand, and since he is a full-time road warrior I just ordered based on his feedback. It was a good decision. I have used this for nearly two years and other than a couple of scuffs provided by the bagage handlers at Delta, it still looks brand new. This fits well in all but the smallest of overhead bins and the expansion has been quite useful on the rare occasions where I need to pack for 4-5 days.The handle and wheels are typically concerning for people and the product won't disappoint. The handle has been abused and used hundreds of times and still works like new. The wheels roll smoothly and don't tend to pick up dirt or skid when you roll over the salt and sand during the winter months. I also have no concerns about any of the zippers. They all work great and seem indestructible. Finally, the internal functionality is perfect for me. I can easily pack 1-2 suits in the suiter while carrying the typical dress shirts, shoes, etc in the main compartment. I regularly carry my liquids in the front zippered pocket for easy access when going through airport security. I don't however use the smaller "boarding pass" pocket that fits nicely inside the open space between the handle on the back of the unit. It sits pretty low and really doesn't hold much. I tend to put my paperwork and phone in the small pocket on the top/front of this carry-on. The real deal is the lifetime warranty. If something were to happen with this bag the B&R folks will fix it, no questions asked. My brother tends to abuse the bags and has sent two in for repair. They work was done quickly, at no charge, and the bags look like new again. Can't beat a lifetime warranty. Stop looking and buy this bag if you want a convenient 20" carry-on for your 2-4 day trips. You will be very happy.

Never had a problem getting on the plane with it (AA, USAirways, Continental). They will check sometimes, but it always measures with-in limits. Paid for itself in baggage fees. Suit and two shirts stay clean, wrinkle-free. Still less than a year old, no scuffs or holes or breaking. Rolls just fine. Always carry onto plane, never roll so I don't know if it fits well down the aisle, will try soon enough I suppose. Fits well in cabin bins. BEAUTIFUL CHOCOLATE BROWN. I like the olive as well. The chocolate only has a few matching pieces in the landline, can't mix transcend or brx if you are into the whole matching luggage thing. This is the only piece of luggage I carry. 1-2 day trips with full suit shoes and two-three sets of clothes, or 5-7 days when no suit/dress shoes. Haven't tried expanding it/checking it.

I bought this to replace my previous Briggs & Riley suitcase that was lost by the airlines (thanks, Continental). I never had a single issue with my previous bag, and this one is of the same excellent quality. Everything is of the highest quality, the handle is durable, the zippers and pulls are rugged, and the layout of the interior and storage pockets is great, including the fold-out hanging section. The wheels are widely spaced, providing stability, and roll smoothly.Also note their warranty, which is that if the bag ever breaks or is damaged, even if caused by the airlines, they'll fix it for free, forever.
